Where are the unlocked Apple iphones 3Gs? It is legal in Australia, India and a few other countries for Apple to manufacture unlocked iphones for sale. Why is Apple not doing the same thing in the USA? Sure, those outfits that provide unlocking services will lose their business. But Apple should start providing unlocked phones to the general public; The demand is there but the supply is nowhere to be found.
